Zuo Wang

Zuo “ST” Wang, also publicly known as Esti Wang, is a Chinese high-stakes cash-game player familiar to viewers of Triton Poker’s livestreams. His involvement in the circuit also includes Triton’s Montenegro Invitational, where he invited Alex Kulev as his professional partner.

In a published Chinese-language interview, Wang recalled working at an internet company after graduating from university. His introduction to poker came around 2010 through a friend he played mahjong with, whose stories about online poker encouraged him to try the game himself.

Wang described spending roughly six months learning online before moving into live games in Macau, where he preferred the conversation and face-to-face atmosphere. He shared an unusual detail about that transition: having learned with blue diamonds on an online deck, he only discovered that diamonds on physical playing cards were red when he began playing live.

Away from the table, Wang described himself as an introverted, Hong Kong - based homebody who enjoys long video-game sessions. In the same interview, he said he keeps his private life largely separate from poker and does not use social media, offering a quieter off-table contrast to his appearances in high-stakes broadcasts.
