Yuuki Kaida

Sashimi is a Japanese live cash-game poker professional and content creator based in Las Vegas. Originally from Osaka Prefecture, she moved to San Francisco for language study in 2019 before relocating to Las Vegas in 2021 to pursue poker more seriously. She is commonly identified in poker media as Yuuki Kaida.

She has said that she discovered poker while studying in the United States after a friend introduced her to the game at a casino. Unlike traditional casino games, she was drawn to poker because players compete against each other rather than against the house. She has described starting with a bankroll of roughly $1,000 and gradually moving into larger games.

Sashimi became a recognizable livestream personality through appearances on shows including Hustler Casino Live and PokerGO’s "No Gamble, No Future". Her playful on-stream persona has helped her stand out, most notably with a viral 2022 Hustler Casino Live costume prank that generated widespread coverage across poker media.

Away from the table, she runs Japanese-language poker and travel content under the Sashimi Poker brand and has built a community around her social channels. She has also worked with poker platforms including EV Poker and BC.GAME/BCPoker, while Japanese broadcaster ABEMA featured her on "Queen Of Poker" and promoted her as the “Tyrant of Las Vegas.”
