Wiktor Malinowski

Wiktor Malinowski, better known in poker as “Limitless,” is a Polish professional poker player who built his reputation primarily in high-stakes online cash games. Born in Belarus and raised in Poland from around the age of five, Malinowski became one of the best-known online players of his generation under the Limitless screen name.

Before poker, Malinowski was a serious handball prospect. As a teenager he moved to Germany to pursue the sport, later trained with Vive Kielce’s first team and played in Germany’s 3. Liga. Knee injuries disrupted that path, and during rehabilitation his older brother introduced him to online poker. Malinowski has said that watching the poker documentary Bet Raise Fold helped convince him to take the game seriously.

He began playing online in 2014, starting with freerolls and very small cash games before progressing to high stakes in roughly two years. His competitive sports background carried over into poker, where he became known for an intense work ethic and a strong focus on the mental side of the game. He has also coached other players and was involved with Smart Backing, a Polish staking and training project.

Away from standard poker biography, Malinowski has built a colorful public persona. He has spoken about marathon cash-game sessions lasting dozens of hours, and once famously offered to play a streamed heads-up challenge while drinking an entire bottle of wine. In 2021, GGPoker signed him as an ambassador and made him the first member of its Team Poland, although that partnership appears to have since ended.
