Wesley Fei

Wesley Fei, whose documented name is Wenzhi Fei, is a Chinese high-stakes poker personality best known from Hustler Casino Live. He is also known as “Wesley,” “Wes Side,” and online as Dr.Hash. Unlike many established poker professionals, Wesley came to the game relatively recently and quickly became recognizable for his aggressive, unconventional style and willingness to play in major televised cash games.

Before becoming known in poker, Wesley built his public profile in cryptocurrency and Web3 investing. He has described himself as a crypto trader and investor and has been associated with investment businesses including Infinite Decentralization Capital and Block Infinity. He has also appeared publicly as an angel investor in blockchain-related startups, including decentralized-identity company Nametag.

Wesley has said that he discovered poker almost by accident after a delayed train trip left him near Berkeley, where a friend introduced him to the game at Oaks Poker Room. According to his early interviews, he appeared on Hustler Casino Live only a few weeks after learning poker and later hired an online player to coach him as he worked on improving his game.

Outside poker and crypto, Wesley has shared several unusual details about his background. He has said that he competed in yo-yo contests when he was younger and even coached actors for the Chinese television series Blazing Teens. His public content also covers travel, food, investing, and lifestyle topics, making him a recognizable personality beyond the poker table rather than a traditional full-time poker professional.
