Santhosh Suvarna

Santhosh Suvarna is an Indian businessman from Bengaluru whose business interests have included Cadillac Casino in Goa, a venture he established with Vikram Kumar. His involvement in the industry extends beyond playing: he previously owned Rockets Poker Room, giving him experience on the operational side of poker.

Suvarna’s poker roots are in cash games, which occupied his first five years in the game before he expanded into international tournament poker. He also became a participant in Hustler Casino Live’s high-stakes games. His televised appearances include PokerGO’s High Stakes Poker.

Despite competing against established professionals, Suvarna has spoken openly about having much to learn and his ambition to develop as a player. He studies leading players through Triton videos and its app, reviewing their decisions to improve his understanding of the game while balancing poker with business commitments and family time.

His approach emphasizes enjoying poker without losing concentration: he has said that playing under pressure makes good decisions harder. Away from the competitive side, his friend and fellow player Nik Airball has publicly praised his cheerful, kind and helpful personality.
