Russel Quick

Russell “Russ” Quick is a Jacksonville, Florida - based entrepreneur and high-stakes live cash-game player. He is best known professionally for founding QRx Digital and leading ventures in digital marketing, retail merchandising, cannabis, vape products, and electric personal mobility. In poker, Quick has appeared in streamed high-stakes cash games, including Hustler Casino Live.

Quick’s background is unusually varied. According to his company biography, he earned a degree in nuclear engineering from Iowa State University, but he ultimately built his career in convenience-store retail and marketing. He reportedly began working in the industry around age 14 by sweeping the parking lot of a neighborhood gas station. Before moving into corporate retail management, he owned Subway restaurants and developed a foodservice concept called Fresh Way Subs and Salads. His rise through the convenience-store industry included joining Fas Mart on the same day the company filed for bankruptcy protection in 2001, after which he advanced into senior sales and marketing roles.

Quick later applied his retail and marketing experience to his own companies, including QRx Digital, AllStuff420, QRx Dispensary Solutions, and the cannabis-news project 420CanNews. His work has involved scan data, category management, loyalty technology, product placement, and retail-channel development - skills that helped him build a career far removed from poker. Outside business and poker, he founded The Quick Mission in memory of his late mother, helping charities improve their websites, fundraising campaigns, and digital visibility.
