Dan Bilzerian

Daniel Brandon Bilzerian is an entrepreneur, social-media personality and high-stakes cash-game player known as “Blitz” and the “King of Instagram.” His fame extends well beyond poker, built around an Instagram persona showcasing luxury travel, parties and an extravagant lifestyle.

Away from the tables, Bilzerian founded IGNITE in 2017, launching its initial California cannabis range in 2018. He also published his autobiography, The Setup, in 2021, presenting his own account of his childhood, military experiences and gambling career.

Before becoming an internet celebrity, Bilzerian served in the U.S. Navy and attempted SEAL training, but did not qualify as a Navy SEAL. His appetite for challenges also extended to a 300-plus-mile bicycle ride from Las Vegas to Los Angeles in 2016, undertaken for a wager with Bill Perkins after preparation that included advice from Lance Armstrong.

Bilzerian’s poker background centers on private high-stakes cash games rather than the tournament circuit. A former GGPoker ambassador, he joined the brand in December 2020 and publicly confirmed the partnership’s end in June 2022. His televised and streamed appearances include Poker After Dark’s “Blitz Week” and Hustler Casino Live’s June 2024 celebrity game alongside Neymar, Ninja and Jimmy Butler.
