FAQ

About

Bill Burford, better known as “Mr Bill Poker” or “MrBillPoker,” is an American amateur poker player, content creator, and software developer tied to the Dallas-Fort Worth poker scene. In a 2018 World Poker Tour interview, he became known for sharing his poker experiences through his YouTube vlog.

Burford launched his "MrBillPoker YouTube channel in December 2017", documenting cash games, poker trips, and his life as a recreational player. Unlike full-time professionals, he balanced poker with a career in software development, spending evenings and weekends on the game and his videos.

Burford became a poker vlogger partly to share his experiences with his family and leave a personal record for his children. In a 2018 interview, he revealed that a single video could take 10–12 hours of work to produce, reflecting his dedication to documenting his poker journey.

Beyond poker, Burford's background includes recreational basketball, and he enjoys following sports, especially his son's college soccer career. Through his "Mr Bill Poker" persona, he shares the perspective of an enthusiastic amateur balancing poker with family and professional life.
