Ben Lamb

Ben Lamb, known online as “Benba,” is an American professional poker player from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended Jenks High School and briefly studied at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, before leaving college to pursue poker professionally. Early in his career, he worked as a poker dealer at Cherokee Casino in Oklahoma, where observing experienced players helped him develop his understanding of the game.

Lamb established himself in online and live poker, particularly in high-stakes cash games and Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO). He played online as “Benba” on platforms such as PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. He honed his PLO skills alongside fellow professional Chance Kornuth and contributed to poker education through Chip Leader Coaching. In 2011, he partnered with PokerTracker as a sponsored player and consultant, and served as an early tester of PokerTracker 4.

Beyond poker, Lamb is a gaming entrepreneur and co-founder of YEET, a cryptocurrency-based online casino and sportsbook that launched in 2024. What began as a modest consulting role grew into a major business responsibility; in a 2025 interview, he said he worked up to 90 hours a week on the company. His move into entrepreneurship broadened his involvement in the gaming industry beyond professional poker.

Lamb is also an avid golfer with ties to professional golf. In 2023, he played alongside Tiger Woods in the Genesis Invitational pro-am after meeting Woods at a charity poker event benefiting the TGR Foundation. Known for his enthusiasm for high-stakes recreational golf, Lamb has recounted unconventional matches, including a period when he carried two golf bags containing more than 20 clubs. His interests in golf, business, and poker have made him a recognizable figure across several competitive gaming circles.
