Andrew Neeme

Andrew Neeme is an American professional poker player, content creator, and entrepreneur known for helping popularize poker vlogging on YouTube. Born and raised in the Detroit suburbs of Michigan, he graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in telecommunications. Before pursuing poker professionally, he held marketing positions in the music industry in London and Los Angeles. He later shifted from online poker to playing live cash games professionally in Las Vegas.

Neeme launched his poker vlog in October 2016, giving viewers a look at the daily life of a professional poker player. His interest in filmmaking grew from a photography challenge in which he took one picture each day throughout 2016. His accessible storytelling, humor, and behind-the-scenes footage helped make him one of poker’s most recognizable content creators. He won poker vlogger awards in three consecutive years, 2017–2019, and received the 2017 American Poker Awards People’s Choice award for Poker Personality.

Alongside fellow poker personality Brad Owen, Neeme helped popularize poker meet-up games, giving fans the chance to play alongside their favorite content creators. Their first official joint event was held at the Mirage in Las Vegas in June 2017. In January 2022, Neeme and Owen became co-owners of The Lodge Card Club near Austin, Texas, alongside Doug Polk. Neeme has also served as a World Poker Tour brand ambassador, partnered with poker brands, and supported poker education through the Hand History Lounge coaching community.

Away from the poker table, Neeme’s creative pursuits include playing drums from childhood through college, photography, travel, and filmmaking. He has cited Anthony Bourdain as an inspiration for weaving food, culture, and travel into his videos. He also launched Favorable Apparel, co-hosted the "Tells: On Poker and Love" podcast with Busi Buthelezi, and shares personal writing through his "Andrew Thoughts" newsletter. Through professional poker, storytelling, and community-building, he has become an influential figure in modern poker entertainment.
