A snapshot of each player — not a definitive ranking of poker skill.
Players are compared across the tracked player pool using:
Win rate — the main factor, adjusted for all-in luck.
Volume — more hands improve confidence and add points.
Stakes — the average effective stakes played. Below $50, a gradual penalty of up to 5 points applies.
Play style — patterns in tracked decisions. Penalties are reduced when Win rate contributes fewer than 40 rating points; positive contributions are unchanged.
Off-stream skill — evidence of playing strength beyond our streams, not fame alone.
Popularity — a separate bonus for well-known players.
Last played — a small penalty for long gaps in tracked play.
Reading the breakdown
Ratings below 25 appear as Unranked (an asterisk on compact badges).
Their breakdown keeps positive contributions and labels negative contributions Unranked.
For other players, each factor shows the points it adds or subtracts. For skill and popularity,
Level 1–3 is the assessment tier; +0.2 means 0.2 rating points.
The same level can add fewer points to an already high rating — it does not mean a lower assessment.
Sustained losses can reduce the boost from off-stream skill.
The Stake size row combines the existing stakes bonus with the low-stakes penalty:
$40 subtracts 1 point, $25 subtracts 2.5, and $10 subtracts 4. There is no penalty at $50 or above.
The penalty uses the player's actual average effective stake in USD and is applied after skill and popularity bonuses.
